They may also engage in behaviors such as excessive exercise, vomiting, or misuse of laxatives to prevent weight gain.

Bulimia Nervosa : People with bulimia engage in episodes of binge eating, consuming large amounts of food in a short period of time. They then adopt unhealthy ways to compensate for the binge, such as vomiting, using laxatives, or excessive exercise. Unlike anorexia, individuals with bulimia may maintain a relatively normal weight.
